March 2012
Like when you were young
And everybody used to call you lucky
Forget this dead mans town, I’ll take you home
Hiya - the Sinai by Starlight was all booked through Thomson before we left, but I’m sure every hotel has the same or similar excursions. We did pick ups from a few hotels before we left for Sinai anyway.
The submarine seems to be advertised in and outside of the hotel, it’s actually right on the coast of Sharm town where you get on the sub, but our hotel put on bus transfers. You can make your way there by taxi though.
Hard Rock cafe - We went there via a taxi from the hotel.
I definitely recommend the Sinai by Starlight out of all of them, it was a lovely afternoon but it gets cold in the evening. We did so much that we’ll probably never do again.
We didn’t spend that much time in Sharm itself because our resort literally had everything we could wish for and most our days were spent reading around the pool, so I can’t tell you how big it is as we only saw such a small part! The hotels are literally on a strip of road from the airport so there must be bus or taxi travel from them all.
I know Reef Oasis is expensive, but if you’re looking for a holiday where you don’t have to worry about a thing you should stretch for it :)
I really want to go back now :(
Seeing people from your past cross paths is so strange. I forget who’s side you were on anyway.
