For the past week I’ve been constantly hearing “you’re only 21 once!” And this birthday is certainly feeling more and more special.

I came in to work today to find the announcement in the paper from my parents, sister, niece and boyfriend which was very sweet. Then I walked into my office and found my desk covered in balloons and banners and confetti! And then at 10.30 this morning all my colleagues started gathering in reception and presented me with amazing gifts! A beautiful charm bracelet, pink champagne and purple champagne flutes, Thorntons chocolates, a photo frame and a huge chocolate cake which was shared out and destroyed within minutes.

I’m so lucky to work with such generous people :)

Definately in birthday mode, not work mode!
